Flash is no, no for SEO

Is Flash good for your SEO? If your goal is to achieve higher rankings on the search engines than unfortunately my answer is no.  While there have been some efforts made in attempts to read past the flash scripting, unfortunately search engines are not yet capable of parsing much from them at all.

Because of this, an unwise decision to maximize such graphics in trade may actually mean a drop in rankings.
Flash certainly has it’s place in some venues, just not at the exclusion of keyword rich content your site requires to get you indexed.  If it’s the flawless movement of objects, roll overs, scrolls and graphics that trips your graphic trigger, try finding a team who knows how to structure and implement java scripting code, such as AJAX  or even some CSS to achieve such features in ways that are still beneficial to your Search Engine Optimization goals.
