Google Base Tips

So we all know froogle / Google Base or plan old Google Shopping, a colleague asked me the other day if I had any tips for running a feed into Google shopping… (he is the feed master btw) so I thought why not blog on it!
Tips for Google Base:
- Most important is not optimizing your site for Google base, but the attributes for it! This way you don’t mess up what you already got going on!
- Make sure KW variation is in the googlebase-name that pulls into the feed that is powered by YSW!
- Don’t OVER saturate KW!
- Don’t add worlds that will de-value your product name – such as: – pretty, cool, you will love it, must have, free, (these are kind like stop words in SEO
