Instagram is now available for Android
For the last week and a half Android users have been rejoicing, because the long-awaited release of Instagram for Android operating systems (primarily on mobile devices, but also on tablets) is finally here. The official blog post released on Instagram.com summed up the announcement perfectly: Instagram for Android — Available Now.. Over 430,000 Android users had been chomping at the bit for a taste of Android — and contending themselves with alternatives such as PicPlz (the closest thing I have personally found to be as great and feature-packed as Android) in the meantime.
Android users are happy to to be able to use Instagram right on their own Android devices. Get your own copy of the fun app directly from your phone (visit the Android Market or Google Play store), or online at the Google Play Store.
