Yahoo has a new CEO as of last week meet the new head lady, Marissa Mayer. A 37 year old with the ambition, drive and expertise in computer technology. Mayer was the first female engineer hired at Google in 1999, where she became a top executive. Mayer is the brains behind the simplicity of the Google Homepage, where you will see mostly white with a colored search engine bar in the center. She also launched “Google maps” and was leading the location and maps services that Google offers.

Mayer sees potential in Yahoo and calls Yahoo “one of the best brands available online”. This power woman is one of the most iconic faces in the Tech industry. After working with Google for 13 years Mayer has some big plans for Yahoo and we can’t wait to see them unfold. Oh did I forget to mention she also teamed up with retail giant Walmart. There isn’t much this woman can’t and hasn’t done and we love that ambition-especially from a woman! You go girl.
